Bogue - “How’d You Feel About Talkin’ To Me” LP
“They’re better than us” - Jack White (of The White Stripes)
“Damn, it’s funky” - Method Man (Wu Tang)
Recorded back in 2002 by Jim Diamond at Detroit’s legendary Ghetto Recorders, Bogue are one of the most shining examples of a band that never got its due. The fourteen tracks compiled here are more than reminders of what could’ve been, they fully serve as a testament to Bogue’s strength at the height of their power. This is hip-shakin’, curb-stompin’ blues, and simply put, they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
This first-ever release comes complete with brand new artwork by Tom Deja of Bossman Graphics, the same creative mind that created many of the original Bogue show posters. Speaking of show posters, there’s a load on the back cover for your viewing pleasure. Also featured is a touching and impactful remembrance by Mike Walker, the sole surviving member of the band.
